India's under-17 men's national football team played a goalless draw against the United Arab Emirates in a friendly match held in Ras Al Khaimah. This match was the first of two planned friendlies before the team heads to Malaysia for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. Under coach Mehrajuddin Wadoo, the team aims to qualify for the Asian Cup for the second consecutive time. India will play the UAE again in three days before facing Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore, and Guam in their qualifying group.
