Captain Smit Machchhar, a pilot for Flydubai, displayed extraordinary bravery when he was allegedly stabbed by his co-pilot during Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Despite severe injuries, Machchhar managed to activate the cockpit door release, allowing other crew members and passengers to intervene and subdue the attacker. The aircraft, carrying 174 passengers, plunged thousands of feet before being diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, where it made a safe emergency landing.
