NCERT AI Module Uses Real-Life Examples For Classes 9-12

NCERT has launched an introductory module on computational thinking and AI for Classes 9-12, released on October 23. Developed with IIT Madras and IIT Jodhpur faculty, the 20-hour module uses familiar situations like spotting friends or identifying songs to teach AI concepts. It employs an activity-based approach, allowing learning with or without digital devices to ensure inclusivity. The module covers how machines learn, why they err, and responsible AI usage, assuming no prior knowledge. It aims to make abstract AI concepts accessible through practical exercises and discussions.

एनसीईआरटी ने 9वीं से 12वीं कक्षा के लिए कम्प्यूटेशनल थिंकिंग और AI पर एक परिचयात्मक मॉड्यूल लॉन्च किया है, जिसे 23 अक्टूबर को जारी किया गया। आईआईटी मद्रास और आईआईटी जोधपुर के फैकल्टी के साथ मिलकर विकसित किए गए इस 20 घंटे के मॉड्यूल में AI की अवधारणाओं को सिखाने के लिए दोस्तों को पहचानने या गानों की पहचान करने जैसी जानी-पहचानी स्थितियों का उपयोग किया गया है। यह गतिविधि-आधारित दृष्टिकोण अपनाता है, जिससे समावेश सुनिश्चित करने के लिए डिजिटल उपकरणों के साथ या उनके बिना सीखने की सुविधा मिलती है।
