Russia Claims US May Arm AUKUS Submarines

Russia's Foreign Ministry claims the United States is considering arming SSN-AUKUS submarines with strategic nuclear warheads. Ambassador-at-Large Andrey Belousov stated at the IAEA General Conference that these submarines are technically capable of carrying such weapons. He noted that if a decision is made, the necessary infrastructure would already be in place in Australia, with the US and UK developing Australian territory for military purposes and weapons deployment.
