A fire ravaged a flat on the eighth floor of the Brigade 7 Gardens apartment complex in Uttarahalli, Bengaluru, on Wednesday. Officials suspect an electrical short circuit caused the blaze, which was confined to a single 3BHK flat in D block. Four fire tenders responded to the incident, bringing the flames under control. The extent of the loss is still being assessed. A resident questioned the initial response, noting that water from the ground floor was not reaching the fire effectively.

बुधवार को बेंगलुरु के उत्ताराहल्ली में ब्रिगेड 7 गार्डन्स अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्स की आठवीं मंजिल पर एक फ्लैट में भीषण आग लग गई। अधिकारियों को शक है कि आग शॉर्ट सर्किट से लगी, जो डी ब्लॉक के एक 3BHK फ्लैट तक ही सीमित रही। चार फायर टेंडरों ने मौके पर पहुंचकर आग पर काबू पा लिया। नुकसान का अभी आकलन किया जा रहा है। एक निवासी ने शुरुआती प्रतिक्रिया पर सवाल उठाया, यह कहते हुए कि ग्राउंड फ्लोर से पानी आग तक प्रभावी ढंग से नहीं पहुंच रहा था।
