Youths' Blood at Jantar Mantar Cries for Justice, Says Writer Sarah Joseph

Writer and social activist Sarah Joseph stated that the blood of youths shed at Jantar Mantar protest sites cries out for justice. She was addressing a 24-hour satyagraha organised by the All India Students’ Federation in Thrissur, in solidarity with the New Delhi protest. Joseph alleged suppression of democratic rights and constitutional values under the current dispensation. She called for nationwide protests against the alleged attacks on students and the undermining of fundamental rights, urging public outcry and stating that every part of the country must become a Jantar Mantar.

लेखिका और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सारा जोसेफ ने कहा कि जंतर-मंतर पर नौजवानों के खून की चीखें इंसाफ मांग रही हैं। वह थ्रिस्सूर में ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन द्वारा आयोजित 24 घंटे के सत्याग्रह को संबोधित कर रही थीं, जो नई दिल्ली के विरोध के समर्थन में था। जोसेफ ने मौजूदा सरकार के तहत लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों और संवैधानिक मूल्यों के दमन का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने छात्रों पर कथित हमलों और मौलिक अधिकारों को कमजोर करने के खिलाफ राष्ट्रव्यापी विरोध का आह्वान किया, जनता से आवाज उठाने का आग्रह किया और कहा कि देश का हर हिस्सा जंतर-मंतर बनना चाहिए।
