बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे दिवाली से पहले सरकारी कर्मचारियों को नवंबर का वेतन मिल जाए। उन्होंने देरी पर चिंता जताई और कहा कि सरकार समय पर भुगतान के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, भले ही इसके लिए दफ्तरों को शनिवार को भी खुला रखना पड़े। मुख्य सचिव प्रत्यय अमृत ने जिलाधिकारियों के साथ वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस की, जिसमें दिवाली और छठ त्योहारों से पहले भुगतान में तेजी लाने के लिए अतिरिक्त प्रयास की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया गया। शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य सहित कई विभागों को समय पर वेतन नहीं देने के कारण पहचाना गया, जिससे कार्य संस्कृति में सुधार की चेतावनी दी गई।
