Brazilian aerospace firm Embraer is proposing to produce its C-390 Millennium aircraft in India, aiming to meet a potential demand for 500 military transport planes in Asia over the next two decades. Embraer is partnering with Mahindra Group for the Indian Air Force's medium transport aircraft program, a deal potentially worth ₹1 lakh crore for 60 aircraft. If successful, they plan to establish a final assembly line in Nagpur, creating a production and export hub. This initiative aligns with India's 'Make in India' defense manufacturing goals.

ब्राज़ील की एयरोस्पेस कंपनी एम्ब्रेयर एशिया में अगले 20 सालों में 500 सैन्य ट्रांसपोर्ट प्लेन की मांग को पूरा करने के लिए भारत में अपने C-390 मिलेनियम विमान बनाने का प्रस्ताव दे रही है। एम्ब्रेयर, महिंद्रा ग्रुप के साथ मिलकर भारतीय वायु सेना के मीडियम ट्रांसपोर्ट एयरक्राफ्ट प्रोग्राम के लिए साझेदारी कर रही है, जो 60 विमानों के लिए ₹1 लाख करोड़ का सौदा हो सकता है। अगर यह सफल होता है, तो वे नागपुर में एक फाइनल असेंबली लाइन स्थापित करने की योजना बना रहे हैं, जिससे यह उत्पादन और निर्यात का केंद्र बनेगा। यह पहल भारत के 'मेक इन इंडिया' रक्षा निर्माण लक्ष्यों के अनुरूप है।
