Mint · business

The Bombay High Court has set aside a trial court order that took cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate's prosecution complaint against OctaFX India, now Tauga Private Limited. Justice Milind N. Jadhav ruled that the December 24, 2024 cognisance order was unsustainable due to procedural irregularities. Consequently, consequential steps, including a Red Corner Notice and a non-bailable warrant against the company, have been quashed. The matter will return to the trial court on November 18, 2026, for a fresh hearing on objections before deciding on cognisance.
