Haryana-NCR Petrol Pumps To Deny Fuel Without Valid PUC Certificates
Hindustan Times · environment
Petrol pumps in Haryana's National Capital Region districts will now deny fuel to vehicles without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate starting October 1. This directive, issued by the Haryana transport department, aligns with the CAQM air pollution control measures. Petrol, diesel, and CNG stations must verify PUC certificates, initially manually and later via Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras. Failure to produce a valid certificate will result in fuel denial, and vehicles may be directed to the nearest testing centre.
