Patwari Suspended For Grabbing 51 Land Leases

A patwari in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district has been suspended for allegedly registering 51 land leases, including public amenities, in his and his wife's names. The 'Swamitva Yojana' aims to provide land rights to rural populations. The former patwari, Rajesh Mandloi, manipulated records to claim 48 leases for himself and 3 for his wife. This corruption was exposed after villagers complained, leading to an investigation and the patwari's suspension.

मध्य प्रदेश के खंडवा जिले में एक पटवारी को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। उस पर आरोप है कि उसने 'स्वामित्व योजना' के तहत 51 ज़मीन पट्टे, जिनमें सार्वजनिक सुविधाएं भी शामिल थीं, अपने और अपनी पत्नी के नाम पर कर दिए। पूर्व पटवारी राजेश मंडलोई ने खुद के लिए 48 और पत्नी के लिए 3 पट्टे दर्ज करवाए थे। ग्रामीणों की शिकायत के बाद यह गड़बड़ी सामने आई।
