Jagsher Singh Khangurra has secured at least a bronze medal for India at the BWF World Junior Championships 2026 by reaching the boys' singles semifinals in Cairo. The 14th-seeded Indian defeated opponents from Malaysia and Chinese Taipei to advance. In the girls' singles, Shaina Manimuthu reached the quarterfinals but was subsequently eliminated. Other Indian contenders in both boys' and girls' singles, as well as the doubles teams, were knocked out in earlier rounds, primarily in the round of 16.
