Arunachal Congress Demands Release of Siang Project Protesters, Withdrawal of Cases

The party also called for the withdrawal of cases registered under the Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against them. Furthermore, they seek the revocation of suspension orders against government employees and village functionaries, along with the removal of additional security forces from affected areas. The Congress emphasized the need for dialogue and democratic engagement to address public concerns regarding ancestral land, displacement, and livelihood.
