Sushila Sigda, a three-time pradhan of Jhunjhunu Panchayat Samiti, has rejoined the Congress party after a seven-year absence, leaving the BJP. She will contest the Jhunjhunu Zila Parishad elections from Ward 6. Congress fielded her just before the nomination deadline, with local leaders facilitating her return. Sigda stated she left the BJP due to dissatisfaction with the party's ticket distribution and the alleged sidelining of old workers. Her return sets up a direct contest against the BJP's nominee, Anamika, the daughter-in-law of former MP Narendra Kumar.

झुंझुनूं पंचायत समिति की तीन बार की प्रधान सुशीला सिगड़ा, सात साल बाद भाजपा छोड़कर कांग्रेस में फिर शामिल हो गई हैं। वह वार्ड 6 से झुंझुनूं जिला परिषद का चुनाव लड़ेंगी। कांग्रेस ने नामांकन की अंतिम समय सीमा से ठीक पहले उन्हें टिकट दिया, और स्थानीय नेताओं ने उनकी वापसी में मदद की। सिगड़ा ने कहा कि वह भाजपा के टिकट वितरण से असंतोष और पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं को कथित तौर पर दरकिनार किए जाने के कारण पार्टी छोड़कर आई हैं। उनकी वापसी से भाजपा की उम्मीदवार, पूर्व सांसद नरेंद्र कुमार की बहू अनामिका के खिलाफ सीधा मुकाबला होगा।
