AISA President Neha Bora's Lawyer Argues Against Bond Requirement

AISA President Neha Bora has challenged a notice from the Special Executive Magistrate requiring her to furnish a personal bond of ₹10,000 and a surety to maintain peace. Her lawyer argued in the Delhi High Court that Bora, an active leader, has never incited violence. The lawyer stated that the protests in question were peaceful and that Bora did not call for or provoke any violence. The court is hearing arguments from both sides regarding the magistrate's notice.

एआईएसए अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा ने स्पेशल एग्जीक्यूटिव मजिस्ट्रेट के उस नोटिस को चुनौती दी है जिसमें उन्हें शांति बनाए रखने के लिए ₹10,000 का व्यक्तिगत बॉन्ड और एक ज़मानत देने को कहा गया था। उनके वकील ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में दलील दी कि बोरा, जो एक सक्रिय नेता हैं, ने कभी भी हिंसा भड़काने का काम नहीं किया है। वकील ने कहा कि जिन विरोध प्रदर्शनों का ज़िक्र है वे शांतिपूर्ण थे और बोरा ने किसी भी हिंसा के लिए न तो उकसाया और न ही बुलाया था। कोर्ट मजिस्ट्रेट के नोटिस के संबंध में दोनों पक्षों की दलीलें सुन रहा है।
