Search and rescue teams resumed operations on Saturday to retrieve the bodies of six people killed in a helicopter crash near Jyotirmath (Joshimath) in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. Retrieval efforts were suspended Friday due to hazardous terrain and failing light, with an Army unit warning of bear activity. The helicopter, operated by Trans Bharat Aviation, was returning from Badrinath when it crashed, likely due to inclement weather. The deceased include the pilot and five passengers from Karnataka.
