Thief Tricks Bookseller, Steals Phone, Withdraws ₹50,000

A bookseller in Telangana's Khammam district was defrauded of ₹50,000 by a cunning thief. The accused posed as a customer, asked the bookseller to send ₹1 to a friend via UPI, and cleverly observed the seller's UPI PIN. While the seller's wife was inside, the thief snatched the smartphone from the counter and fled. He then made three separate withdrawals totaling ₹50,000 from the stolen phone. The bank blocked the account, saving ₹3,000.

तेलंगाना के खम्मम जिले में एक दुकानदार को एक चालाक चोर ने ₹50,000 की ठगी का शिकार बनाया। आरोपी ने ग्राहक बनकर दुकानदार से उसके दोस्त को UPI के ज़रिए ₹1 भेजने को कहा और चतुराई से दुकानदार का UPI PIN देख लिया। जब दुकानदार की पत्नी अंदर थीं, तब चोर ने काउंटर से स्मार्टफोन छीना और भाग गया। उसने फिर चोरी किए गए फोन से तीन अलग-अलग बार में कुल ₹50,000 निकाले। बैंक ने ₹3,000 बचाते हुए अकाउंट ब्लॉक कर दिया।
