बिजनौर, भारत के लोगों ने विदेश में नौकरी दिलाने का वादा करने वाले धोखेबाज़ एजेंटों के हाथों लाखों रुपये गंवा दिए हैं। पीड़ितों को कथित तौर पर ऑस्ट्रेलिया, कतर, सऊदी अरब और रूस जैसे देशों के लिए नकली वर्क परमिट, जाली नियुक्ति पत्र या पर्यटक वीज़ा दिए गए थे। कुछ लोगों को तो विदेश पहुँचने पर ही धोखे का पता चला। अधिकारियों ने मामले दर्ज कर लिए हैं और आगे शोषण को रोकने के लिए भुगतान करने से पहले एजेंटों की साख की पुष्टि करने के लिए जनता से आग्रह कर रहे हैं।
