India and the UAE have commenced their joint military exercise, 'Mountain Guardian 2026', at the Foreign Training Node in Chaubatia, Uttarakhand. The 14-day drill, running to 18, involves 92 soldiers, with 46 from each nation's army. The exercise focuses on counter-terrorism operations in mountainous terrain, incorporating physical training, combat skills, and advanced technology like drones. भारत और यूएई ने उत्तराखंड के चौबटिया में फॉरेन ट्रेनिंग नोड पर अपना संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास 'माउंटेन गार्जियन 2026' शुरू कर दिया है। 14 दिनों तक चलने वाला यह अभ्यास 18 तारीख तक चलेगा, जिसमें दोनों देशों की सेनाओं के 46-46 यानी कुल 92 सैनिक शामिल हैं। इस अभ्यास का मुख्य फोकस पहाड़ी इलाकों में आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियानों पर है, जिसमें शारीरिक प्रशिक्षण, युद्ध कौशल और ड्रोन जैसी उन्नत तकनीकों को शामिल किया गया है। इस सहयोग का उद्देश्य दोनों देशों के बीच आपसी तालमेल बढ़ाना, पहाड़ी युद्ध की रणनीतियों को साझा करना और रक्षा सहयोग व आपसी विश्वास को मजबूत करना है।
