UP Farmers Get Rs 6 Lakh Loans

Uttar Pradesh has launched the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana to provide affordable long-term credit to small and marginal farmers. Eligible farmers can access loans up to Rs 6 lakh at a 6% annual interest rate, with the government offering interest support and a 5% subsidy. This initiative aims to strengthen farmers' economic positions, enabling them to invest in agriculture and allied activities for diversified and sustainable income. The scheme is being implemented through the cooperative banking system, with Rs 38 crore allocated in the 2026-27 budget.

उत्तर प्रदेश ने छोटे और सीमांत किसानों को किफायती दीर्घकालिक ऋण प्रदान करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री कृषक समृद्धि योजना शुरू की है। पात्र किसान 6% वार्षिक ब्याज दर पर 6 लाख रुपये तक का ऋण प्राप्त कर सकते हैं, जिसमें सरकार ब्याज सहायता और 5% सब्सिडी प्रदान करेगी। इस पहल का उद्देश्य किसानों की आर्थिक स्थिति को मजबूत करना है, जिससे वे विविध और टिकाऊ आय के लिए कृषि और संबद्ध गतिविधियों में निवेश कर सकें। यह योजना सहकारी बैंकिंग प्रणाली के माध्यम से लागू की जा रही है, जिसके लिए 2026-27 के बजट में 38 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
