A woman narrowly escaped a horrific bus fire on the Yamuna Expressway, but lost her husband, Devendra Bhardwaj, in the blaze. The sleeper bus, traveling from Delhi to Mahoba, caught fire near Jewar, killing nine passengers. The survivor, Rekha Bhardwaj, recounted the terrifying ordeal, stating that her husband, who had a leg injury, could not escape the flames. Their mobile phones were destroyed, hindering contact with family.
