Probe Ordered Into Tribal Grant Irregularities

An inquiry has been ordered into alleged irregularities concerning maintenance grants worth crores of rupees given to four military schools in Marathwada. The tribal development department is investigating grants released between 2015-16 and 2022-23 for Classes XI and XII, which allegedly lacked required recognition. An activist claimed the scam could be around Rs 2 crore, with potential for it to increase significantly upon detailed investigation. The probe aims to scrutinize records and determine the extent of the alleged misappropriation.

के चार सैन्य स्कूलों को रखरखाव के लिए करोड़ों रुपये के अनुदान में कथित अनियमितताओं की जांच का आदेश दिया गया है। आदिवासी विकास विभाग 2015-16 और 2022-23 के बीच कक्षा XI और XII के लिए जारी किए गए अनुदानों की जांच कर रहा है, जिनमें कथित तौर पर आवश्यक मान्यता का अभाव था। एक कार्यकर्ता ने दावा किया कि घोटाला लगभग 2 करोड़ रुपये का हो सकता है, और विस्तृत जांच होने पर इसमें काफी वृद्धि होने की संभावना है। इस जांच का उद्देश्य रिकॉर्ड की पड़ताल करना और कथित दुरुपयोग की सीमा का पता लगाना है।
