OpenAI Gives Ukraine AI Cyber Defence Tools

Tech giant OpenAI is providing its AI cyber defence system, Daybreak, to the Ukraine government for free. This initiative aims to help Ukraine protect critical civilian infrastructure, such as hospitals and power plants, from cyber-attacks. Daybreak can rapidly identify digital system vulnerabilities and assist in developing solutions. Ukraine will also gain access to OpenAI's advanced GPT 5.6 Sol model. This move strengthens Ukraine's cyber defence capabilities against ongoing threats.
