Woman Arrested Within 24 Hours For Snatching Gold Chain From Child

Barke police in Mangaluru have arrested a 42-year-old woman, identified as Minnath, within 24 hours of her allegedly snatching a gold chain from a three-and-a-half-year-old girl. The incident occurred at a wedding hall, and the stolen 10g gold chain, valued at approximately Rs 1.4 lakh, was recovered. This arrest follows a complaint filed by the child's mother. The accused has multiple previous theft cases registered against her, leading to the invocation of Section 112 (organised crime) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

मंगलुरु के बरके पुलिस ने एक 42 साल की महिला, जिसका नाम मिन्नत है, को साढ़े तीन साल की बच्ची से सोने की चेन छीनने के 24 घंटे के अंदर गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। यह घटना एक शादी हॉल में हुई थी, और चोरी हुई 10 ग्राम की सोने की चेन, जिसकी कीमत करीब 1.4 लाख रुपये है, बरामद कर ली गई है। यह गिरफ्तारी बच्ची की मां द्वारा शिकायत दर्ज कराने के बाद हुई है। आरोपी के खिलाफ पहले से ही चोरी के कई मामले दर्ज हैं, जिसके चलते भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 112 (संगठित अपराध) लगाई गई है।
