कॉकक्रोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) ने 10 अक्टूबर को जंतर मंतर पर प्रदर्शन का आह्वान किया है, जिसमें मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग की गई है। CJP ने चुनावी रोल और चुनाव आयोग के स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन एक्सरसाइज में अनियमितताओं का आरोप लगाया है। प्रदर्शन की आशंका को देखते हुए नई दिल्ली में अधिकारियों ने कड़े सुरक्षा उपाय और यातायात प्रतिबंध लागू किए हैं। जनपथ-कर्तव्य पथ के 4 किलोमीटर के दायरे में इंटरनेट सेवाएं निलंबित रहेंगी। कई मेट्रो स्टेशनों को बंद कर दिया गया है और रेल सेवाओं को कम कर दिया गया है, जिसका कारण संभावित अव्यवस्थित भीड़ की आवाजाही बताया गया है।
