Legendary actor Anant Nag will be honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2024. The government announced the prestigious award for his significant contributions to Indian cinema, particularly in Hindi and Kannada films. With a career spanning over five decades and more than 250 films, Nag is also a respected theatre artist. The award, Indian cinema's highest recognition, will be presented at the National Film Awards ceremony in Kevadia, Gujarat, on September 22.
