The Supreme Court has taken a strong stance against disruptions to daily life in Delhi caused by protests. A bench has issued crucial guidelines, stating that citizens' fundamental freedoms and movement cannot be arbitrarily curtailed in the name of law and order. The court mandated that metro and rail services in the capital must operate normally unless there is a direct and unavoidable apprehension of public disorder under Article 19(2) of the Constitution.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली में विरोध प्रदर्शनों से होने वाली आम जनजीवन की परेशानियों के खिलाफ कड़ा रुख अपनाया है। एक बेंच ने महत्वपूर्ण दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं, जिसमें कहा गया है कि कानून और व्यवस्था के नाम पर नागरिकों की मौलिक स्वतंत्रता और आवाजाही को मनमाने ढंग से कम नहीं किया जा सकता। अदालत ने आदेश दिया कि राजधानी में मेट्रो और रेल सेवाएं सामान्य रूप से चलनी चाहिए, जब तक कि संविधान के अनुच्छेद 19(2) के तहत सार्वजनिक अव्यवस्था का सीधा और अपरिहार्य आशंका न हो।
