Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan defended the government's response to the ongoing LPS teacher job aspirants' protest, stating that four out of five demands have been accepted. He mentioned that discussions were held multiple times, but the demand to reduce the teacher-student ratio from 1:30 to 1:25 cannot be met due to financial constraints. Implementing this would necessitate creating additional posts across various teaching levels, impacting both government and aided schools.
