Social Media Influencer's Wife Loses Village Election Despite Millions of Followers

Social media influencer Pawan Sahu, who boasts millions of followers on YouTube and Instagram, failed to secure a victory for his wife, Komal Sahu, in the village सरपंच election. Despite his online popularity and campaign promises for village development, Komal Sahu received only 277 votes, placing her third. The winner, Bhagwati Lal Soni, secured 1203 votes. This outcome highlights that online reach does not always translate into local electoral success, as village elections depend on factors like candidate connection and local issues.
