New Zealand batsman Glenn Phillips surprised fans and former cricketers with an unconventional shot during the first T20 against India in Christchurch. Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan described the switch hit as the 'most atrocious shot' he has ever seen against a fast bowler, calling Phillips 'extraordinary'. The audacious shot, executed on the last ball of the 20th over, saw Phillips turn like a left-handed batsman to hit the ball over mid-wicket for a boundary.
