A 65-year-old UK man, George Gordon, is accused of murdering his 62-year-old artist friend, Delia McInerney, in April 2023. Her dismembered remains were discovered in a chest freezer at his flat on January 8 this year, alongside her five pet guinea pigs. Prosecutors allege Gordon posed as McInerney after her death, sending messages and fraudulently accessing thousands of pounds from her bank accounts. He also allegedly purchased tools consistent with dismemberment and collected medications found in her system.
