PC Jeweller Becomes Debt-Free After Rs 3,000 Crore

PC Jeweller announced on Friday that it has successfully cleared its outstanding dues to all 14 consortium banks, effectively becoming debt-free. The company had a total debt of approximately Rs 3,000 crore. This achievement follows the company's decision in September 2024 to opt for a one-time settlement with its lenders. The settlement terms included cash and equity components, along with the release of securities. PC Jeweller stated that becoming debt-free will significantly strengthen its balance sheet and overall financial position.

पीसी ज्वैलर ने शुक्रवार को बताया कि उन्होंने अपने सभी 14 बैंकों का बकाया चुका दिया है। अब कंपनी पर कोई कर्ज नहीं है। पहले करीब 3,000 करोड़ रुपये का कर्ज था। यह एक बार के निपटान (one-time settlement) के बाद हुआ है। कंपनी ने सितंबर 2024 में यह फैसला लिया था। अब पीसी ज्वैलर की वित्तीय स्थिति काफी मजबूत हो गई है।
