ED Arrests Kolkata Man in Land Grabbing Case

The Enforcement Directorate has arrested a Kolkata-based man, Amit Ganguly, in a money laundering case linked to alleged land grabbing and forgery. Officials stated Ganguly was taken into custody under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. He is accused of acquiring properties through forged documents, manipulated land records, and threats. Ganguly faces 23 police FIRs registered against him and linked entities by the West Bengal Police.

ईडी ने ज़मीन हड़पने के मामले में कोलकाता के व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने कोलकाता के अमित गांगुली को मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के एक मामले में गिरफ्तार किया है। यह मामला कथित ज़मीन हड़पने और जालसाजी से जुड़ा है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि गांगुली को प्रिवेंशन ऑफ मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग एक्ट के तहत हिरासत में लिया गया है। उस पर जालसाजी वाले दस्तावेज़ों, ज़मीन के रिकॉर्ड में हेरफेर और धमकियों के ज़रिए संपत्ति हासिल करने का आरोप है। पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने उसके और उससे जुड़ी संस्थाओं के ख़िलाफ़ 23 FIR दर्ज की हैं।
