In West Bengal's Purulia district, the Jaipur Rajbari's Durga Puja is renowned for its unique 400-year-old tradition. The golden idol of Goddess Durga is kept securely in a bank locker for approximately 360 days a year. On the day of Shashti, the idol is brought to the Rajbari under heavy police protection for the festivities. After the puja concludes on Dashami, it is returned to the bank locker. This practice began after a theft incident, prompting enhanced security measures for the valuable idol and its silver backdrop.

पश्चिम बंगाल के पुरुलिया जिले में जयपुर राजबाड़ी की दुर्गा पूजा अपनी 400 साल पुरानी अनोखी परंपरा के लिए मशहूर है। देवी दुर्गा की सोने की मूर्ति साल के करीब 360 दिनों तक बैंक लॉकर में सुरक्षित रखी जाती है। षष्ठी के दिन, मूर्ति को उत्सव के लिए भारी पुलिस सुरक्षा के बीच राजबाड़ी लाया जाता है। दशमी पर पूजा समाप्त होने के बाद, इसे बैंक लॉकर में वापस कर दिया जाता है। यह प्रथा चोरी की घटना के बाद शुरू हुई, जिसके कारण कीमती मूर्ति और उसके चांदी के पृष्ठभूमि के लिए सुरक्षा उपाय बढ़ाए गए।
