Pope Francis Greets Huge Crowds in Paris

Pope Leo XIV was greeted by hundreds of thousands of people in Paris ahead of a large open-air Mass. Crowds cheered as he travelled down the Champs-Élysées Avenue, waving from his popemobile and blessing babies. Over half a million people are expected to attend the ceremony, with a special altar erected on the Place de la Concorde. The Pope also met migrants at the Maison Bakhita centre, praising their work and discussing dignity and peace.
