BFI Chief Hails India's Boxing Success at Asian Games, Eyes Olympics Replication

The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) president Ajay Singh expressed confidence following India's strong boxing performance at the Asian Games, stating it can be replicated at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. India secured six medals from 11 events, an improvement from the previous edition. Singh highlighted that three Indian boxers reaching their finals is a significant achievement, given the high calibre of competition, which he described as similar to the Olympics. He anticipates converting some of these finalists into gold medalists.
