Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das was detained in Delhi along with other leaders ahead of a planned protest. The demonstration aimed to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral rolls. Police cited security concerns for denying permission and detained over 7,000 people, closing Metro stations and barricading central Delhi. Das alleged the crackdown revealed the government's fear of dissent and vowed the campaign would continue. The detained leaders were later released by an executive magistrate.

कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के प्रवक्ता सौरव दास को एक नियोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले दिल्ली में अन्य नेताओं के साथ हिरासत में लिया गया था। इस प्रदर्शन का उद्देश्य चुनावी सूचियों में कथित अनियमितताओं को लेकर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग करना था। पुलिस ने सुरक्षा चिंताओं का हवाला देते हुए अनुमति देने से इनकार कर दिया और 7,000 से अधिक लोगों को हिरासत में लिया, मेट्रो स्टेशनों को बंद कर दिया और मध्य दिल्ली को बैरिकेड कर दिया। दास ने आरोप लगाया कि इस कार्रवाई से सरकार का असंतोष का डर जाहिर होता है और उन्होंने संकल्प लिया कि अभियान जारी रहेगा।
