Court Orders Neighbour To Allow Flat Repairs

A Maharashtra Co-operative Appellate Court has ordered a first-floor flat owner to allow repairs after an eight-year legal battle over water leakage. The ground-floor resident had been experiencing leaks since July 2012, initially attributed to civil work done by a previous owner. Despite multiple repair attempts, including one costing Rs 36,750 paid by the ground-floor owner, the issue persisted. The first-floor owner had objected to further repairs, citing damage to his tiles.

महाराष्ट्र की एक को-ऑपरेटिव कोर्ट ने एक मामले में बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है। आठ साल की कानूनी लड़ाई के बाद, कोर्ट ने पहली मंजिल के फ्लैट मालिक को नीचे वाले फ्लैट में पानी के रिसाव की मरम्मत की इजाजत देने का आदेश दिया है। नीचे रहने वाले व्यक्ति को 2012 से ही यह दिक्कत आ रही थी। कई बार मरम्मत के बावजूद समस्या बनी रही। पहली मंजिल वाले मालिक ने अपनी टाइलों के टूटने का हवाला देते हुए और मरम्मत का विरोध किया था।
