A Bengaluru court has extended the Enforcement Directorate's custody of IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar by eight days. Gangwar is being investigated for alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission recruitment process. The ED seeks to probe a suspected money trail and irregularities in multiple recruitment examinations. Investigators allege that Gangwar received ₹1.3 crore in cash from a suspect and provided leaked question papers. This investigation is part of a money-laundering probe.

अधिकारी गंगवार की ईडी हिरासत आठ दिन बढ़ी

बेंगलुरु की एक अदालत ने IAS अधिकारी ज्ञानेंद्र कुमार गंगवार की प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) की हिरासत आठ दिनों के लिए बढ़ा दी है। गंगवार कर्नाटक लोक सेवा आयोग भर्ती प्रक्रिया में कथित अनियमितताओं के लिए जांच के दायरे में हैं। ED कई भर्ती परीक्षाओं में संदिग्ध मनी ट्रेल और अनियमितताओं की जांच करना चाहती है। जांचकर्ताओं का आरोप है कि गंगवार को एक संदिग्ध से ₹1.3 करोड़ नकद मिले थे और उन्होंने लीक हुए प्रश्न पत्र उपलब्ध कराए थे। यह जांच मनी-लॉन्ड्रिंग की जांच का हिस्सा है।
