Chhattisgarh Home Minister Orders Crackdown on Drug Kingpins and Financial Networks

Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has directed police to target drug kingpins, financiers, and syndicates, moving beyond arresting small-time peddlers. He ordered a comprehensive crackdown on the entire narcotics supply chain, from production to distribution. A special committee will be formed to investigate financial networks and attach illegal assets acquired through drug trafficking. Sharma also mandated intensified surveillance of medical stores and a three-month drive to expedite vehicle confiscation in narcotics cases.

छत्तीसगढ़ के उपमुख्यमंत्री और गृहमंत्री विजय शर्मा ने पुलिस को छोटे-मोटे तस्करों को गिरफ्तार करने से आगे बढ़कर ड्रग माफिया, फाइनेंसर्स और सिंडिकेट्स को निशाना बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने उत्पादन से लेकर वितरण तक, नशीले पदार्थों की पूरी सप्लाई चेन पर व्यापक क्रैकडाउन का आदेश दिया। ड्रग ट्रैफिकिंग से अर्जित अवैध संपत्तियों की जांच करने और उन्हें कुर्क करने के लिए एक विशेष समिति गठित की जाएगी। शर्मा ने मेडिकल स्टोर्स पर सघन निगरानी और नशीले पदार्थों के मामलों में वाहन कुर्की में तेजी लाने के लिए तीन महीने का अभियान भी अनिवार्य किया।
