Jaipur Market Fire System Still Defunct After Blaze, Ahead of Diwali

Two weeks after a fire at Purohit Ji Ka Katla in Jaipur's Manihari Bazaar, the market's fire safety system remains non-functional. A committee formed by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) to inspect and restore the system missed its deadline. Traders expressed concern, with the association president stating no repairs have been made. Despite the JMC assuring repairs will be completed before Diwali, questions linger over the delayed restoration, especially as the civic body intensifies fire safety inspections city-wide.
