Bihar MLC Election Sparks Row; Nitish Kumar Meets Lalan Singh Over Dispute

Aaj Tak · politics

A political dispute between Bihar MLCs Neeraj Kumar and Anant Singh has escalated, reaching Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Kumar met with Union Minister Lalan Singh to discuss the ongoing conflict over the Patna Graduates MLC seat. The disagreement stems from Anant Singh publicly supporting a candidate against the incumbent JDU MLC. This rivalry between the two leaders, both from the Mokama area, has a long history, intensifying after a 2019 AK-47 recovery case where Singh accused Kumar.
