Guest Teacher Drew Salaries From Two Schools; Probe Ordered

An investigation has been launched into allegations that a guest teacher in Yadgir district, Karnataka, drew salaries from two government high schools simultaneously during the 2025-26 academic year. Ramesh Rathod allegedly received paychecks from schools in Bachimatti and Vajjal, located 12km apart, with his name appearing on attendance registers for both. Officials have formed an investigation team to probe the matter and initiate legal action against the teacher and any individuals who may have assisted him.
