Two Farmers in Belagavi Duped of Rs 4 Lakh by Cyber Fraudsters

Cyber fraudsters have allegedly cheated two farmers in Belagavi's Athani taluk of over Rs 4 lakh in separate incidents. One farmer was promised a mobile tower installation on his land with a substantial monthly rent and contract, leading him to transfer Rs 1,04,700 in stages. The fraudsters then demanded more money, promising returns. In another case, a farmer lost Rs 2,99,500 after clicking a link on Facebook, which led to online transfers from his bank account. Police have registered two cases and are investigating the incidents.

बेलगावी में दो किसानों से साइबर ठगों ने ठगे 4 लाख रुपये

साइबर ठगों ने कथित तौर पर बेलगावी के अथानी तालुका में दो किसानों से अलग-अलग घटनाओं में 4 लाख रुपये से अधिक की ठगी की है। एक किसान को उसकी जमीन पर मोबाइल टावर लगाने का वादा किया गया था, जिसमें अच्छा मासिक किराया और अनुबंध शामिल था, जिससे उसने किश्तों में 1,04,700 रुपये ट्रांसफर कर दिए। इसके बाद ठगों ने और पैसे मांगे, मुनाफे का लालच दिया। एक अन्य मामले में, एक किसान ने फेसबुक पर एक लिंक पर क्लिक करने के बाद 2,99,500 रुपये खो दिए, जिससे उसके बैंक खाते से ऑनलाइन ट्रांसफर हो गए। पुलिस ने दो मामले दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
