IIT Madras Dominates NTPC Electron Quiz, Securing First and Second Places

IIT Madras students showcased exceptional performance in NTPC's 'Electron Quiz 2026-27', securing both the first and second positions. IIT Kanpur finished third, a step down from their previous year's win. The national finale, held in Noida, saw IIT Madras's Advik Kabra and Ashish Cherian Thanikal claim the championship, winning ₹1,00,000. Their IIT Madras peers, Shriram Madhavan V. and Ishaan Joshi, secured the runner-up spot with ₹60,000. The quiz, which began in Lucknow and spanned nine cities, attracted over 1,100 teams nationwide.
