Gyanvapi Mosque Survey Case: Allahabad HC Sets Nov 30 For Next Hearing

The Allahabad High Court has scheduled as the next date for hearing a petition requesting an Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) survey of the Gyanvapi mosque's ablution pond area. This petition challenges a Varanasi district court's order that refused to direct an ASI survey of the wuzukhana. The Hindu side claims a structure within the area is a Shivling, while the Muslim side identifies it as a fountain.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद के वजूखाने इलाके के भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण (ASI) सर्वे के अनुरोध वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए अगली तारीख तय कर दी है। यह याचिका वाराणसी जिला अदालत के उस आदेश को चुनौती देती है जिसने वजूखाने का ASI सर्वे कराने का निर्देश देने से इनकार कर दिया था। हिंदू पक्ष का दावा है कि इलाके में एक ढांचा शिवलिंग है, जबकि मुस्लिम पक्ष इसे फव्वारा बताता है।
