Centre Appoints Prakash Rajpurohit Dy Election Commissioner In Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle

The Centre has appointed senior bureaucrat Prakash Rajpurohit as Deputy Election Commissioner as part of a significant reshuffle involving 27 civil servants. Rajpurohit, a 2010-batch IAS officer from Rajasthan, will serve in the Election Commission until April 8, 2030. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet cleared these administrative changes, which also include Vivek Khare's appointment as Joint Secretary at the National Testing Agency. Several other officials have been assigned joint secretary-level positions across various ministries and departments, including Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, and NITI Aayog.

केंद्र सरकार ने एक बड़े फेरबदल के तहत वरिष्ठ नौकरशाह प्रकाश राजपुरोहित को उप चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किया है। इस फेरबदल में कुल 27 सिविल सेवकों को शामिल किया गया है। राजस्थान कैडर के 2010 बैच के IAS अधिकारी राजपुरोहित 8 अप्रैल 2030 तक चुनाव आयोग में अपनी सेवाएं देंगे। Appointments Committee of the Cabinet ने इन प्रशासनिक बदलावों को मंजूरी दी है, जिसमें विवेक खरे की National Testing Agency में संयुक्त सचिव के पद पर नियुक्ति भी शामिल है। कई अन्य अधिकारियों को Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare और NITI Aayog सहित विभिन्न मंत्रालयों और विभागों में संयुक्त सचिव स्तर के पद सौंपे गए हैं।
