The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially denied reports that the opening ODI between India and Sri Lanka, scheduled for December 13 in Delhi, would be moved to Ahmedabad. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia clarified that the match remains allocated to the national capital, dispelling speculation. The rumours arose due to ongoing construction work at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. Ahmedabad is already set to host the third ODI on December 19.
