US coffee giant Starbucks is planning to establish a global technology centre in India. The government has not yet disclosed the specific investment amount for this new venture. This strategic move follows closely behind US pharmacy chain Walgreens, which recently signed an agreement with Tamil Nadu to set up its own GCC in the state's capital. This centre will join existing tech hubs operated by other major global businesses in the region.
