Uttarakhand CM Launches Civil Services Coaching For Persons With Disabilities

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched civil services coaching for persons with disabilities on International Day of Older Persons. During the event in Dehradun, he also honoured 23 senior citizens and awarded five students. Dhami transferred ₹147.34 crore as pension to over 9.93 lakh pensioners. He emphasized the importance of senior citizens, calling them the "security shield" of families and living repositories of heritage. The state government provides a monthly pension of ₹1,500 to senior citizens and is strengthening old-age homes across Uttarakhand.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वृद्धजन दिवस पर उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने दिव्यांग जनों के लिए सिविल सेवा कोचिंग की शुरुआत की। देहरादून में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के दौरान उन्होंने 23 वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को सम्मानित भी किया और पांच छात्रों को पुरस्कृत किया। धामी ने 9.93 लाख से अधिक पेंशनभोगियों के लिए ₹147.34 करोड़ की पेंशन राशि हस्तांतरित की। उन्होंने वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए उन्हें परिवारों का "सुरक्षा कवच" और विरासत का जीवित भंडार बताया। राज्य सरकार वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को ₹1,500 की मासिक पेंशन प्रदान करती है और पूरे उत्तराखंड में वृद्धाश्रमों को मजबूत कर रही है।
